When Gendry is discovered and revealed as one of Robert’s bastards many years earlier than in canon, Jon Arryn pulls some strings to get him away from the Lannisters’ claws, and decides to send him to foster with Ned Stark in Winterfell. When Gendry arrives, he quickly finds kinship with the Stark children, but may get more than he bargained for when he befriends Arya Stark. As the friendship between the two slowly grows into something more, troubling words from the south reach Ned’s ears, and Gendry’s mere arrival in Winterfell alerts the Starks to a Lannister plot that threatens to sunder the Iron Throne. A butterfly’s wings can cause a hurricane, and a Stag among Wolves may shift the balance of the Seven Kingdoms forever.
Originally intended to be a slowburn Arya x Gendry childhood friends-to-lovers fic, that sort of snowballed as I fully outlined and realized the butterfly effect that I had unintentionally created. May turn into a full canon divergence AU of the books if I stay motivated enough lol.

Arya Stark also has two problems: everyone assumes she's only a Ranger because of her father, and she's hopelessly hung up on Motorhead87, the mysterious online friend who makes her laugh harder than anyone she's ever met in person.
When they meet at a bar right before Arya reports to her new unit, sparks fly—until Gendry opens his mouth about "entitled legacy kids." Come Monday morning, they're about to discover that sometimes the person you're falling for online and the person you can't stand in real life are one and the same.

Eddie watches as the wolf steps closer and giggles at the wet cold feeling of his snout sniffing at his hand. He brings it up to pet through the wolf’s unbelievably soft fur and marvels at the glisten of the golden-like color even in the moonlight. “You do too, huh?” Eddie giggles, scratching behind the wolf’s ear as he sniffs at Eddie’s face. “I think I’m gonna’ call you Ozzy.”
Ozzy huffs and Eddie laughs.
“Yeah. Ozzy suits you perfectly.”

Summary
Stranger Things meets Star Trek meets Heated Rivalry meets Arrival.
End of season 4 and season 5 fix-it. Eddie lives and accidentally saves humanity on account of being a weird nerd, with Byler endgame fix-it, plus a lot of other fixing - as much as I can pack in really!
The explict tags are for Steddie only fyi. The younger teens and Rockie have no explicit scenes and are cute YA romances with a dose of horror and angst.
The fic started with an idea about changing a few things about the coming out scene in volume 2 of season 5, then it grew arms and legs after deciding to self-indulgently make Eddie live and also to explore both Byler and Steddie.
It's the first longer fic I've pantsed and published chapters as I've finished them so maybe don't read it until it's posted as finished if you're not sure about some of the tags? Or just find something else that floats your boat? Idk.
