Summary
Michela didn't expect all of this to happen when she woke up this morning. She started her day with her lovely family in California, taken care of and pampered, and now she's wet from the sewers, tired, and in an entirely different continent!
These new rats seem kind of cool though. Maybe she'll stick around before trying to find her way back.

Summary
“Oh, okay.” Scar nodded seriously. “Are you running away, too? Do you want to be run-away buddies?” Not cool, Scar. Too desperate. But this guy was crazy, since he didn’t know about zombies, so maybe he wouldn’t even notice. The question was what would Scar do once he had a crazy guy to take care of. Oh, whatever. He was lonely.
The boy shook his head, though. “No. I don’t get to run away.” There was a sharpness to his voice. “He’ll come looking for me, and drag me right back.”
Scar is in the middle of a horrible, terrifying apocalypse- and has been since he was young. But what happens when he leaps into a weird portal, as a last resort, and finds himself in the wonderful world of a Japanese High School?
Grian, or Taurtis, according to his “friends”, would beg to differ about the key word “wonderful” in that sentence.
So what happens when Scar figures out why?
DISCONTINUED sorry!

Summary
Grian loved his job as a fisherman. It simple and fulfilling- waking up early to get out to the boat, meeting Martyn at the dock for some easy ribbing, spending all day on the sea with the salty spray and clear skies. It was lovely. And routine. As much as he loved it, sometimes he couldn't help but wish there was... something else to it.
Then, one of their nets pulls of something very interesting- with bright golden scales, and a face. Whoops.

Summary
The light vibration in his throat as he tried to speak was missing. Like his vocal cords had completely given up on him.
Grian looked back at the two suspected culprits with wide eyes, trying to hide the way his right hand was trembling on his neck.
“I had hoped it would not come to this”, the left one spoke, the voice still devoid of emotion. “You have been chosen. You are to become one of Us. And Watchers do not speak.”
—
After being trapped in the End by two Watchers, Grian is faced with a harsh reality.
Watchers don’t have bodies. They only are consciousnesses floating in the universe, meant to observe and guide, possessing power to help Them in doing so. That doesn’t stop Them from making Grian one of Them.
Having lost everything, all Grian wants is to return to those he cares about. Unfortunately Watcher power doesn’t come without a price.

Or, the journey of a lone avian-turned-Watcher trying to get back what he has lost.
