Spider had always been different from the other humans.
Ever since Mo'at had first met the boy, who stood between Kiri and Lo'ak, clutching both of their hands in his much smaller ones with a shy smile on his face behind the clear glass of his mask, she had known this to be true.
The scientists, even those with Dreamwalkers, forever had a lingering clumsiness when navigating Eywa'eveng. They lacked the balance and stamina needed to run along the large, winding branches that served as the forests' pathways, and they hadn't the strength required to climb the trees and vines that acted as ladders for the Na'vi.
There was something about their spirits that felt...lacking. It did not make them any less of a people, nor did it mean they were not treasured friends and allies, but they always simply felt so...separate. Wooden beads amongst stone.
Except for Spider.
Or Spider was never kidnapped, but neither did he leave the clan alongside the Sully family. There's only one person who feels their absence as keenly as he does. This changes many things.

Summary
Suguru dies and hopes to finally rest. Yet instead his soul is bonded to a random pink-haired teenage monkey as if a curse. Forced to be around Itadori Yuuji from now on, not able to leave, Suguru has to accept his fate and quickly realizes that the boy is not an average human being at all. So, the man decides to teach him about cursed energy. That's what saves Yuuji from becoming Sukuna's vessel and gives him a place in Jujutsu High as a regular student. Suguru can only laugh at how all the familiar paths are being crossed again, a bit nostalgic about the place and people around, with Gojou Satoru observing Yuuji intently. Maybe the curse wasn't that random at all?

“Us? Chaperones? The Professor must be losing his mind,” Peter scoffed as he placed a new serve of lettuce inside the terrarium, which Mr Dibbles’ quickly came over to inspect. Or as quickly as a turtle could move at least.
“Aw come on, don’t you think it’ll be fun?” Ororo said, abandoning her attempts to solve the Rubik’s cube in favour of turning her full attention over to the speedster.
“What could possibly be fun about wrangling a pack of mutant teenagers?”
“Plenty of things! Good music, free drinks, and nobody telling us what we can and can’t do,” she chuckled, tucking her feet under her legs to make space for Peter as he collapsed dramatically onto the bed next to her. “Besides, it’s only for a few hours. And the Professor said us chaperones might get to have an after party if all goes smoothly on the night.”
“Now that sounds more like it,” Peter smirked, before waving his hand around dismissively and adding, “But only if Chuck is footing the bill.”
“Doesn’t he always?” Ororo joked right back, causing both of them to laugh like the children they were somehow expected to chaperone.
