"You think?" Vlad snaps back. "The dude just walked in and glowed! Who the fuck just... glows?"
"Children," Ekaterina snaps. "Enough."
Vlad and Felix straighten up.
Ekaterina is eyeing the so-called Geo Archon when the man turns to them and gives a curt nod. His hair dips along with the curve of the light and his eyes are as beautiful as the Cor Lapis that lurks all over Snezhnaya. His dark coat flares beneath him, so beautiful and so achingly familiar—
Wait.
Ekaterina looks down at the coat. And then at the Geo Archon. The Geo Archon smiles at her curiously, as though questioning, What are you looking at?
Ekaterina thinks, very gloriously: Oh shit.
A story of how Ekaterina, Vlad, and Felix try to work like normal Fatui agents underneath the Eleventh Harbinger. They really should've known better.

He wonders if the real victors during the Archon War were those who perished, who died long before their godhood turned into a curse that chained them to the land that they were fighting for.

Six thousand years of battles hard-fought and thousands of contracts forged and equally as many friends lost, all watered down into hunting for meals and forcing the kid into promising that he’ll stop pestering him about his very cool spear. Morax thinks his life cannot get any more mundane than this. He wants to quickly return the human home so he can catch a break.
In which the Geo Archon, hardened from war and loss, bonds with a battle-lustful human child.
Alternatively, a socially and emotionally inept god's daycare with a rowdy Snezhnayan boy.

“A—Ajax,” Zhongli murmured, a slight blush on his face.
“Hard day at work?” Ajax hummed sympathetically. “Would you like dinner? A bath? Or…” He grinned, dipping down and nibbling Zhongli’s neck. When he resurfaced, his voice was low and husky. “...would you prefer me?”

The numerous scars adorning his body tell the story of a thousand battles, and foresee the arrival of a thousand more. The child who saw the Abyss and returned to tell the tale had gone through wars none before him fought. Neither with the passion he did.
As the said man's lover, Zhongli wants to show his respect to the one bearing all of these marks on his skin. Return the favor for all the times his dear Ajax worshipped him despite how unworthy Zhongli felt of such devotion.
So the Archon will take control, even if he doesn't know what he's doing.
