Tobirama was three when his baby brother was born.
Hashirama was born on a soft spring evening, when the trees were growing in with gentle green leaves and tipped with flower buds. He was so unlike Tobirama in many ways. Less sharp, warmer, with brown hair, brown eyes, and chubby cheeks. He cried upon drawing his first breath.
With Hashirama, the White Demon learned tenderness.

Danger will soon befall Konoha. Tobirama doesn’t know when, or how, but he trusts his premonitions, which shows a certain Uchiha at the heart of it all. Though things have been calm since Hashirama became Hokage, there is a perpetual sense of dread, of impending betrayal. For the sake of the village, Tobirama will do whatever it takes, even if he has to go as far as becoming lab buddies with Madara. Or more.

Summary
The war was endless, the battles in a stalemate, and the winter nearing. The signs said it'd be the coldest one yet. Madara knew that the Uchiha weren't ready and their survival was at stake if something wasn't done. Peace wasn't acceptable to most and running away wasn't their way. The only thing they had left were the old legends of their guardian deity, Amaterasu. Desperate times called for desperate measures.
If they had to summon her Beloved to survive, then so be it.
Or, the one where the winter is coming and times are grim, the Uchiha resort to desperate measures that bring unexpected results.
