Summary
Years of military training and experience had Snake waking up at the first sign of dawn, if not earlier. Always awake far earlier than Otacon. It was a necessity to enforce routines. And obedience.
No matter how tired he was he would still wake up at these times, but everybody has a limit somewhere, and sometimes he’s given no choice but to give in to his exhaustion, even if his survival instincts are trying to wake him up, screaming, “you’re leaving yourself vulnerable!”
Those mornings happened to be some of Otacon’s favorites.
