“Yeon Sieun?” Suho laughs, “Of course I love Sieun. I love Sieun, I love Sieun.” He waves his hand in the air, mimicking an explosion. His love could level buildings. Entire cities. “Wahhh. Love. Pshhhh. Love. Pshh. Love. Super love, super love!”

Or, Sieun accidentally overhears Suho's love confession and they go from there.

“No kissing, boys,” Nurse Cho cuts in, still giggling, “You have stitches in your gums so you don't want the site to get infected.” She’s trying to sound professional, but the non-stop laughter isn’t helping her case.

“Aww, come on,” Suho whines, pulling back a little, “Look at that pretty mouth.” He squishes Sieun's cheeks together until his lips pucker. “So fucking kissable.”

Or, Suho gets his wisdom teeth removed and chaos ensues.

    Summary

Bruised and bleeding, Suho stands in front Sieun's apartment. Sieun lets him in, cares for his wounds and realises more than just one thing about himself that night.

    -

Sieun keeps on staring. A million questions race through his brain like fish through a creek, and it feels like someone has squeezed glue between his muscles and tendons, like he couldn’t move even if he wanted to. In a way, he hopes for Suho to do something as ridiculous and invasive as just coming in for a glass of water like he did the first time. At least then they wouldn’t be stuck out here in an eternal staring contest.

Suho presses his lips together - Sieun can’t tell if it’s from agony or annoyance - and then he tries again. Sieun knows he tries. Tries to get this conversation somewhere, tries to get help.

“Do you have.. something for these wounds maybe?”

    Summary

On his way back home Sieun accidentally runs into Yeongbin and his friends and a fight breaks out. When all seems lost, Suho shows up and saves Sieun in more ways than one. It has Sieun's heart beating way too hard to be normal.

    -

Sieun's head turns so his tired gaze can focus on the tall frame of Yeongbin’s body. On his raised eyebrow, on the desert storm in his eyes, on the wind whipping the red hot sand of his fury into whatever is in the way.

This time, Sieun is in the way. He knows. He knows because Yeongbin’s friends stand behind him like hyenas and vultures, sneering and scowling. Because Yeongbin has that ugly smirk etched into his face, because he must feel all-powerful like this – veiled in the night and his pack of rabid dogs. They glare at their prey, see it as a rotting carcass on the ground already, a cadaver. Apparently they’ve forgotten it still has its sharp teeth.

Suho realizes then that there’s nothing worse than finding out you’ve been taking the wrong medicine. Pills for loneliness. Vitamins to strengthen a weeping heart. Tucked away, Sieun is encased in pale moonlight, arms pressing just enough into Suho’s hipbones to remind him of being solid, human. Maybe bruised, but worthy of healing— tenderness.

So poetic love the way it was written, made me sob even when nothing sad was happening.
