Quackity definitely didn’t seem to believe him. His frown deepened as his gaze darted over Wilbur’s face, like he was searching for any tells that Wilbur was lying.
After a few seconds, he paused his searching, blinking a few times before his eyes widened.
“What the fuck is on your face?”
Wilbur blinked, bringing a hand up to rub around his mouth. “Uh, do I have, like, sauce or-”
“No, no not- since when the hell do you have freckles?” Quackity asked, looking utterly perplexed as he stared at Wilbur’s nose.
“Freckles?” Wilbur repeated a bit dumbly.
“Yeah, have you looked in a mirror recently? You have freckles.”
…oh.
or, since being revived Wilbur has been spending a lot of time in the sun.
