Vi’s had a rough couple of weeks. From getting busted out of prison, tracking down her baby sister, hell, she's even reluctantly teaming up with a Piltie. But nothing has been more exhausting than dealing with Caitlyn’s strangest fixation on the most nonsensical details.
Powder has always been a little different, sure, but that’s just who she is. The weird noises, the wall-climbing, the way she scarfs down sugar straight from the bag—it’s classic Powder. But Caitlyn won’t shut up about it, acting like Vi’s the crazy one for not seeing whatever she was so hung up on. Hell, even Silco doesn’t make a fuss.
Vi just hopes Caitlyn drops it soon, or this whole ‘saving Powder’ thing is gonna get a lot more complicated.

Summary
Diverges from S1E9
After Jinx suddenly turns herself in, Vi is forced to consider a future where her sister will spend the rest of her life in Stillwater. Deep down, out of reach, beaten down between the same stone walls she suffered through for six years. Vi spent those years dreaming of the day she'd get back to her sister, and now, if she doesn't do something, right this moment, she's never seeing her again.
While Vi makes a plan to break Jinx out before she can go to trial, Jinx looks forward to seeing her own plan come to fruition. She's going to make the world pay.
A story about two sisters running away from it all and trying to be okay with each other.

When Vi held Powder in her arms for the first time, Mom asked her: "How does it feel to be a big sister?"
Maybe the answer was in how it felt to stroke her thumb down Powder's cheek, so careful as to not risk hurting her; maybe back somewhere in the moment she laid her head on Mom's growing stomach and heard that first kick and Mom said she was excited to meet her; maybe it was when she was watching Powder get smaller and blurrier as Marcus dragged her out of that alley.
Vi will never be able to answer. Instead, she's finding answers to a new question: How does it feel to not be one?
