Iwaizumi’s eyes carve a line that runs along the length of Oikawa’s spine, pausing when they reach the spot where his hands have settled — a little above his hips.
He resists the urge to do something foolish like stroking his side with his thumb, or drawing Oikawa towards him until his back is firmly pressed against his own chest. Briefly, he imagines what it would be like; to feel every exhale that passes through Oikawa’s chest as though it were his own; to allow his hands to roam freely, exploring warm skin and listen to the way Oikawa’s breath hitches when Iwaizumi’s fingertips dip below the waistline of his pants.
Inhaling sharply, Iwaizumi quickly retracts his hands when they reach their destination.

It’s the one that came out when they were preparing to find Miklan and his bandits, when Felix had argued with the Professor and Dimitri and Ingrid about it, when Sylvain had said, Come on, Felix. It’s a house mission. Am I or am I not a Blue Lion?, as if that in any way cancelled out being Miklan’s brother. “I know I’m not the right package for everyone, but still. You’ve seen me.”
Before Felix can recover from that one-two punch—not the right package, as if Felix hasn’t been in love with him for years and years; you’ve seen me, a dagger slid between the fourth and fifth ribs, sharp and lethal—Sylvain continues, “And, you know, the Crest. It’s no Major Crest of Fraldarius, but you’ve got a lot going for you.”
Felix is going to kill him.
Sylvain gets a letter, drunk, and a confession, roughly in that order. Ingrid and Dimitri have opinions. Felix suffers throughout.

Summary
In the great scheme of things, there are far more important things to worry about than who Felix may or may not be asking to Dorothea’s opera on Friday— especially considering that the whole damn continent is at war— but Sylvain has always been exceptionally good at hyperfocusing on all the wrong things. Besides, he finds this preferable to worrying about the fate of Faerghus, even though it somehow gives him the same sense of dread in the pit of his stomach.
It’s ridiculous, honestly. Felix is a grown man and can do what he wants, and Sylvain has no idea why he’s getting so worked up over it. He’ll find out his answer one way or another, anyway.
Or, Sylvain overhears a conversation between Felix and Dorothea and is completely and totally normal about it.

Felix doesn’t mean to say it, is the thing. He means to tell Sylvain to fuck off, colorfully, for his use of the word “deflower.” He means to tell him that he’s not worried, shut up. He means, more than anything else, to get them to drop this subject and never pick it back up again.
Instead, for some fucking reason, he opens his mouth and asks: “Would you?”

“He’s…” What is Kevin? Not any better at telling Riko ‘no’ than Jean is, and, subsequently, probably not great at lying to him. Also, is it really believable that Kevin would jeopardize the team and their athletic careers by shitting where he eats? Probably not. Kevin’s amended hierarchy of needs just has the word EXY at the base. Somewhere far above that are pedestrian concerns like ‘food’ and ‘water’ and ‘shelter.’
