Summary
Tim opened his eyes, and could feel what was missing. He didn’t even get a second to not remember, between consciousness and not. He felt, simultaneously, too heavy and too light.
Tim sat up, looked around. He was in the Cave, in a medical bed, hooked up to a heart monitor. It beeped steadily. It spiked suddenly as Tim’s hands flew up to his face, tracing its contours, desperate in a way he couldn’t really explain.
“Shit, you’re awake.” Jason rounded the corner and stopped short. “Fuck, I’ll get-”
“A mirror,” Tim demanded hoarsely.
Or: Tim and Damian try to cope. It's slow going.

Summary
The cat’s dark tail swished slowly from side to side. The cat’s fur was short, but fluffy and silky looking. It reminded him a bit of Tim’s hair and the way he always wanted to run his fingers through it. Its eyes were a similar icy-grayish color. That was such a Tim thing to do, to get a cat that matched him.
After a moment of deliberation, the cat hopped down from the window ledge.
Into his living room.
Jason would have been more frustrated by that than he was if the cat had belonged to anyone other than Tim. Tim who he’d known half his life. Tim who broke into his apartment whenever he felt like it. Tim who had a standing invitation to family dinners despite not actually being a member of the Wayne household. The same Tim that Jason was a little bit madly in love with.

“I’m gonna die,” Kon mumbled, his voice thick with desire and distress. “How am I meant to get intel when I’m dead because you’re too hot?” He looked at Tim in the mirror, his eyes wide as he watched his boyfriend meticulously adjust his little side bangs to blend seamlessly with the extensions.
“Well, I’m the one who’s actually going to be flirting with the evil ambassador,” Tim reminded him calmly, turning around in Kon's hands to face him, the hem of the dress swirling around his legs. His elegantly gloved hands—a necessary touch to complete the illusion—moved immediately to adjust Kon’s slightly crooked tie, correcting the minor imperfection with automatic precision. “You’re just there to look pretty and cover me if anything goes wrong. No one will question Lex Luthor’s son at a gala with a girl.”

"I was studying bee culture," the stranger gives a spectacular sigh.
Tim sputters.
"You threw a bee at him?"
...
He is halfway home, later, when he realizes.
Batman and Robin have been facing off against some sort of meta criminal who can control bees.
The kid who keeps bees in his backpack is Damian Wayne.
Robin.
And he's kind of an asshole.OR
When Damian joins the Wayne family early, there are consequences. While Jason lives, Tim's parents both are murdered overseas and he is left alone - for now.
