And fuck the things Dick would do for that grin. It erases the hard edges, the cold and calculating Red Hood, leaving behind a mischievous looking young man, rather than a younger version of Bruce.
So he sighs. “Fine. Just call me if you need anything, okay? I’m gonna be in town for a few days anyways, until we get this Two-Face thing figured out, so it’s not like it’s out of my way,” Dick says as he steps outside into the driveway. “Besides, it’d be nice to hang out more often.”
Jason gives Dick an unsure look, and for a moment, Dick can feel his heart sink a bit. Did Jason not enjoy their breakfast? Dick had intruded, to be fair, but Jason had seemed to enjoy -
