Yennefer sits sideways in her chair, facing him, with an elbow resting on the table. She tilts her head in that pondering way that she does, her eyes scrutinising his on where what he’s going to say is a lie or not.
She’s serious.
“Wh-What?”
Yennefer shrugs a shoulder in such a casual way, he’s wondering if he heard her right. But apparently he did because— “He likes it.”

Summary
Trying to fix all of Gotham's problems on his own might be overrated. Patrolling with Batman once in a while doesn't make up for what Jason has done to Bruce and the other Bats, though, so he isn't pushing his luck. Taking lead on the mission to rescue Red Robin from Black Mask is exactly the chance he needs to start working with the others once in a while.
Luck isn't on Jason's side, though, because history repeats itself when an unexpected second rescuer also wants to get Red Robin to safety.
