What if the Underground started glitching? What if whenever two parallel Timelines, one Undertale, another an Alternate Timeline, Reset at the same time, a bit of the Alternate Timeline leaked into Undertale? What if there were side effects of this happening, like nightmares each time a synchronized Reset occurred? And what if Sans was effected worse than the others with the effects much more severe and some other effects others don't have? What if there were three Alternate Timelines parallel to Undertale, and what if those Alternate Timelines just so happened to be Dusttale, Horrortale, and Something New (AKA Killertale)?

Well, it seems that the man known as Stanley only has two rules for himself (formerly three.) Two is quite the boring number—really, it must get monotonous, repeating the same two things over and over in his head. They’re barely one word off from each other in length, for heaven’s sake, has the man never heard of variety?
Ah, well. C’est la vie; Stanley had a horribly boring life before the loops began, and surely he must be unused to trying to have an interesting life now. Two rules, and he sticks to them like a particularly persistent store-brand of glue. Which is to say, he is rather bad at sticking to them, but he tries very hard nevertheless and everyone should cheer and clap for him.(stanley has two rules. the narrator is horrible with boundaries, to the surprise of absolutely no-one, and especially not to the surprise of the narrator.)

Shadow snorted, looking at his teammates' twitching eyes and awkward smiles. He finished the last knot and reached around, squeezing a glove-covered paw. The purr in Sonics chest only got louder
