You gasp softly at his words. They stir something inside you, warm and potent buzzing in your core. You simply have to ask. “Do you desire me, Thor Odinson?”
He pauses, choosing his words with purpose. “I give you this offering to save the Nine Realms, to keep Ragnarök at bay. I do what duty demands.” And then the crown prince runs his hands up your legs, gently pulling your skirt up just past your knees. “It makes it all the sweeter to know that my insatiable desire for you will also save our world.”

A beautiful, short fic about immortality, death, sacrifice, making mistakes in the name of love, and forgiving without forgetting. I adore this author, who usually posts beautiful fluffy works, so this fic is different from their usual (very very good) fare. But this fic in particular reallllly punches me in the heart. In a good way, I swear lol

Bucky Barnes gets an 11 inch salami stuck up his ass, and while the process of removing it at the hospital is utterly humiliating, it lands him in the muscular safe arms of his gorgeous nurse Steve Rogers. This fic is the definition of Crack Treated Seriously, and it is SO GOOD. My roommate and I reread it on a semi-regular basis because it's genuinely a really well-written fic. It is fluff, it is smut, it is hilarious, it is kinky, and it is definitely worth the read.
I almost exclusively read Loki/Reader and Thor/Reader, and all my other AO3 bookmark recs are for those tags, but I will never not recommend The Salami Fic to everyone I meet.

Begins a few weeks after the events of The Avengers (2012), but is also post-Endgame, in the sense that it splits off from the same starting point as the Loki TV series. Not compliant with the show.

I come back to this fic when I feel stuck, trapped, depressed, and yet still somehow rebellious. Avery and Loki are so fascinating together and the writing in this fic heartbreakingly beautiful. Avery is a very compelling original character, she makes this whole fic super queer, deliciously anarchist, and breathtakingly philosophical while somehow being SO down to earth. This is what I wish the Loki series was, it is such a better way to address Endgame!Loki's trauma instead of a space cop telling him "you're a narcissist who was cosmically meant to fail". This fic scratches a lot of itches I don’t often get from other fics. When I wish I could travel the universe with Loki like a companion in Doctor Who, I read this.

I've reread this series several times over because it's just that good! Lilies Say Sorry is just a great fucking fic on its own about forgiveness and growth, and then Kumikoseph expanded the universe into three more fics??? With some of the cutest Dad!Loki I've ever read??? And there will be more fics in this universe in the future??? Incredible. These stories make me cry but also have some of the most comforting domestic family fluff. The *range*, I love it! Easily one of my comfort series.

A stunning Mulan AU that transcends what the Disney movie did on so many levels. The reader character embodies so much anger, frustration, and determination. She is (we are) the driving force of this fic, and Loki is protective and snarky and so much fun to read! The plot of the war is very compelling in addition to the reader's emotional journey, and I've come back to this fic several times.
