It’s becoming a painfully frequent tradition for their group to sit on the beach after burning shrouds of some kids that were sent on a far too deadly quest for their age and experience. Between the comfort they all get from being close to the sea that Percy has fine control over, the distance they have from the fucking camp full of kids –fucking hell they’re all so young, why are they so young– and the fact that it’s a space large enough for the 14 twenty-something year olds, it has become a frequent meet up point for them.
