Summary
Lomedy’s pride and joy is a flower garden. In the spring, he plants tulips bulbs everywhere. Then the summer perennials, then his sunflowers for the early fall. It’s all marigolds and baby’s breath, black-eyed susans and bee’s balm and birdsfoot tricolor, purple-yellow-and-white. Lomedy takes care of it like his child, pruning and watering, tending to it in the hot summer afternoons.
In that garden is a gravestone.

Summary
Flamefrags wasn’t built for this… easy domesticity. Sweetberry pancakes and waking up slow—he’s not used to this. He was built to fight; to hold an enemy down and slit their throat; to break and bruise. When he touched somebody it was because he was going to ban them. When they touched him—if they touched him—it was ‘cause they wanted to kill him. He’s a fighter, through and through. And this isn’t a fight.
