Suguru turns his chin just slowly enough for Satoru to change his mind, but all Satoru does it comply, letting Suguru’s hand guide him towards him with mischief in his eyes and a small smile, and it’s just not a big deal, they’re just fucking around: Satoru feels fully confident about the lightheartedness of this moment right up until the very second Suguru slots their lips together.

Or: One kiss is all it takes to make the dam crumble, to make Satoru ache for things he doesn't understand. All he craves is to keep taking pleasure from Suguru, and he can't seem to put together why Suguru's indulging him.

OW okokok so like I was gonna curse Rottenpomegranate out in these notes because I almost didn't read this bc I am NOT an angst person, but then I shocked myself by almost crying along with this lady's reaction videos and it was having me in my hidden inventory feels so I was like hey, I'll read the heartbreaking 18k fic posted yesterday...
Yeah this is why I was avoiding it bc Rottenpomegranate always hits me right in the feels, I feel like this killed me. I cried multiple times and idk if it's hormones or something but I am not okay today and I need help
But then it's also sorta okay and then ending was sort of satisfying in a way, that's how I've always felt about it too... so many people were unsatisfied with gojos canon death and I totally get there complaints but honestly he's probably a lot less miserable like that... except that he can't see his kids anymore but yk no one's alive forever so it's probably a good ending for him, lowkey what actually makes him the strongest is suriving the emotional heartache and not ending up like yuji dying in front of megumi in the first few episodes because that's how I feel right now... -

Aww this one was so good! It's been on my tbr for so long (because at this point my tbr consists of fanfiction and barely any actual books)... loved the characterization and how suguru ended up changing his mind. The ending was sweet too and felt really optimistic but not unrealistically... I struggle with time travel fics because they get super weird so easily but this one was so, so good!!!

(He knows Shoko texts Satoru a lot, knows they kept in contact— and he wonders if she asks him the same question: Did you have a fight?
He wonders if Satoru gives her a different answer.)

Or: Despite all the memories coloring their childhood, at twenty-four, Suguru hadn't seen Satoru for years. And then he's there, again, in his life, abrupt and distracting and mesmerizing like a snowstorm, and Suguru has a lifetime or feelings he seems to have gotten too old to ignore.
