Summary
Two things become the center of Qin Jiu's attention at the moment.
One, there's an incredulous abundance of clothes on the bed. Qin Jiu can recognize them as his own: long coats, scarves, gloves, shirts, trousers, spare military uniforms, you name it. In contrast, the only attire belonging to You Huo there is a white jacket similar to the one he frequently wore inside the system back then, acting as a cushion beneath his slack figure. As if a cocoon woven from soft threads and a fangless heat, they surround You Huo in an embrace so protective, so impermeable.
A nest.
His Big Invigilator is sleeping in a nest.
For a split second, an alarm goes off in Qin Jiu’s mind, did something happen to my Big Invigilator that he has to build a nest?
This thought brings him to the second point that steals away his attention:
You Huo has manifested his tiger ears and tail.
Returning home after an overtime in the base, Qin Jiu then finds something unexpected in their bedroom.
For nesting alphas is common knowledge, but not so much of a common practice.

"Spoon? I thought one of my Big Invigilator's policies is "no eating on the bed"?”
"It's not for me."
You Huo returns to the bedroom with his loot: an unopened jar of tiger balm and a stainless steel spoon on each hand respectively. With a smile that's three parts elated and seven parts wicked, he amicably continues,
“It's for you, Qin Jiu."
Qin Jiu: ?
(A jar of tiger balm and a spoon… Never once in his life did he think he could see his Big Invigilator wielding such ordinary things as if they're some lethal weapons, while smiling so gloriously at that too! 100 points for aesthetics are in order for him! So endearing!)
A long mission returns a sickly Qin Jiu to You Huo, thus it's up to this chief instructor to kick that intruding wind out of his husband's body.

Summary
“I'm afraid you have the wrong person.”
Yet the voice that answered him was quiet and solemn, only above a whisper, but it was tangible enough for the wind to carry it to Varka’s ears.
His surprise echoed in a curious “Oh?”, Varka turned around to face the newcomer.
The silver of moonlight could only caress the jade-pale cheeks of the young man before him, it couldn't touch the black layers of his clothes and robes that didn't expose even a small peek of skin. The slim lantern in his hand emitted purple flames instead of sunset-red, bathing his hair in a clashing palette of eerie purple, deep sea blue, and moon white. When Varka met his eyes, an empty twin of yellow pools greeted him back without any light of recognition.
When Army General Varka's interest was piqued by the so-called "blue ghost" of the cemetery, he kept finding himself returning to meet with the "ghost".
