Grian stops trying to protest. He watches her like a prey animal might watch a predator about to leap. “It’s not-”
She pulls a dagger. “If you try to deny it, I will stab you in the guts.”Heartbroken by Scott's rejection, Pearl decides that no one will be hurt by a soulmate rejection the way she was. So she kidnaps Grian to stop him from breaking Scar's heart.

Anathema contacted both Crowley and Aziraphale once the omens started appearing. The snow in July, a lake in Egypt turned into wine over night, piano melodies were coming from the sky. She knew the signs, like the anomalies happening during the first round of Armageddon with Adam. And last time the end of the world was a close call. Her and Newton were too comfortable and happy for that to be ruined by another apocalypse. She knew it was for her best interest to “put the band back together” and try and figure out something to keep themselves alive.
“Wait!” Aziraphale called out.
Crowley stopped and waited, only a few feet from the door.
Aziraphale struggled to say the right words. They were back right where they started.

Aziraphale and Crowley come across each other in the bookshop. They talk, and this time there wasn't any miscommunication.

Dorian knows he is attractive, he is full of soft lines and curls and spirals, like the wind that runs through his blood and soul, like all of his family, blessed not just by their ancestors but by nature itself. It's the kind of beauty that begs to be stolen, to be wrapped into elaborate fabrics and elevated. The beauty that is forced to be an idea, a symbol rather.
Beauty stripped of all personhood.
Ashton is charming in a different way. He is all sharp angles and bite, chipped and unpolished, with mischievous metal glint in his crystal eyes. It's not the poet's beauty but that is what makes Ashton's raw appeal - he is not a symbol or an idea, he is an expression, a statement. He is bold and brash, and Dorian knows no one sharpens themselves like this out of a good life.
But sometimes he wishes that his life was bad instead. Because Dorian's life used to be lovely.
Lovely in a way, where many expensive silks wrap around his neck and suffocate him, like an extraordinarily precious gallows' noose.
Or, Dorian learn what it's like to love someone, and Ashton is there for him when he does.
