Linhardt thinks before he answers. He's been trying not to ask himself the same question for at least four and a half years. He knows the truth, though. He always has. “Yes. I miss him. Even if he doesn't want to be around me anymore, I'd like to see him.”
Maybe Claude will never kiss him again, but Linhardt thinks he could be content just to listen to him talk. He doesn't know if that's pathetic. He's never felt like this before.
