“Mark,” Donghyuck whispers, nosing along Mark’s neck. He blows a short burst of air into his skin and Mark shudders, clenching his fists in Donghyuck’s shirt.
Perhaps Mark would’ve replied with a hum after that, but Donghyuck never manages to find out because the metal doors to the club slam open. Donghyuck startles away from Mark as the entire club hushes down. There are confused looks directed at the intruder, and just before someone can hurl insults towards them for ruining the ambience, the person pulls out a pistol.
“Get down!” The man shouts and everyone falls to the ground as ordered. Mark tugs Donghyuck behind him in an effort to protect him, and his throat dries up. Donghyuck doesn’t need protection. He’s the one that’s trained for things like this.
