"It wasn’t that Steph wanted there to be more crime; it was just that she knew something illegal was happening somewhere, but she didn’t know where and thus couldn’t prevent it. That was what was making her feel restless. She still had one of the patrol routes she and Tim had used when they were trying to avoid the Bat a few years ago though, so in the end, she decided to use that. Because they’d been way more reckless then, and a crime lord with a vendetta hadn’t called it yet, a long part of this route went through Crime Alley. Steph wasn’t particularly worried about it though. God knows the people there would probably need her somehow, and Red Hood wasn’t going to hurt her. In fact…now that was an Idea. Jason had to have something she could help with."
Or: Steph inches her way further into Jason's life, and Jason is thrilled at having a sane sibling. (Little does he know...)

Summary
This series mostly follows Steph and Tim as they try various things in purpose and on accident to make Jason feel like he has a family again! There will be much chaos and fun times and also of course sadness because The Batfamily. They will succeed eventually and none of them will die in the process, just fyi. Other than that, I have very little knowledge of where this is going so I’m just as surprised as you all are about what I write lol. So if everything goes according the plan, these fics should come out in chronological order. If they do not, I’ll put an FYI at the beginning of the next fic to come out so it’s not easily missed.

Summary
Tim doesn't sleep much, and as a result he hallucinates sometimes. He keeps hallucinating a pair of green eyes in the dark.
At the same time he struggles with his place in the fractured batfamily, and tries chasing the Red Hood, who surely is completely unrelated to these green eyes he keeps seeing... right?cue kidnappings, bad decisions, and a whole lot of food!
a bit angsty, but with a happy ending because i REFUSE to write sad ones. title is from "people got a lotta nerve" by neko case :)
