“I understand now” she said softly to Lord Yuka, as the yacht began to accelerate in-system, flanked by an escorting squadron of Imperial patrol destroyers.
“Lady?” asked the Lord Chamberlain politely, still watching the navigation holscreen.
“Why my father sent me here.”
"Ah, yes” said the old man. His fur was white and patchy, and one of his horns was snapped off, but he was still one of the sharpest minds in the Royal Court of Gospodar. “I admit, I had hoped that our…guests…had overstated their position, but I do not see how one could fake this.”
“Neither do I” said the princess, watching billions of tons of Imperial shipping pirouetting across the star system, watching the unimaginably vast walls of the Celestial Sphere inching closer as the yacht slid gracefully towards its docking bay. Her eye caught that of a painted dragon, crimson ink and an elegant golden glow, large enough to swallow her father’s palace whole.
So this is the Eternal Empire. These are the people who have conquered our home.

Summary
Zuko isn’t sent to capture the Avatar after his Agni Kai. Instead, his banishment is permanent. No exceptions. No opportunity to regain his honor. He’s unceremoniously dumped in the Earth Kingdom and left with nothing but a debilitating scar and an uncle who still claims he cares.
An assassination attempt quickly proves that his father isn’t satisfied with just exiling him. He and Iroh decide to hide out in the remote town of Gaoling, one of the few places overlooked by the Fire Nation due to its strategic unimportance.

A more rigorous examination of the events of 0 BBY will show that, while the year is just as pivotal to Galactic history as it usually assumed, the emphasis has often been misplaced. In truth, while the Death Star project did prove to be central to the Galactic Empire’s undoing, the fatal blow came not from DS-01’s destruction at the hands of Luke Skywalker, but from the political implications of the project writ large. It would be going too far to say that the Battle of Yavin was irrelevant, but it would be accurate to say that by the time the Battle Station arrived in the Yavin System, the balance in the Galactic Civil War had already irrevocably shifted, though in ways that would not become apparent for months and years to come.

For once, Percy learned from his mistakes and stayed quiet, though he did give her a bashful smile to confirm the sentiment. "Hm. Well, either way, I owe you thanks. Not many children would agree to spy on their father for me."
Percy put the cup down. "I'm not spying on him," he reasoned. Amphitrite scoffed. "I just happen to be in many of the places he is when he's in the mortal world." A long pause followed, and Percy rolled his eyes. "Yes, he was seeing a mortal woman. Her name is Lea."
"You owe me twenty of your mortal dollars, child."
Percy bitterly slapped the paper bill on the table between them.

Summary
Ahsoka is ambivalent to aquascapes, terrariums, and all things in between. She finds Rex's creatures aesthetically pleasing but otherwise boring. Not once has she expressed an interest in feeding the fish or trimming the grasses. The furthest she’s gone has been to tell him to get geckos next time. These, she claims, actually have personality.
Rex takes this frankly unnecessary attitude from her because Ahsoka is the reason that he has tanks at all. He couldn’t afford anything to put in his first tank until she arrived to his doorstep with a ballooning plastic bag in hand.
The fish died within a week. It came from a grungy pet store in the city that advertised its bettas in a pyramid of plastic cups, but the little guy’s brief presence in Rex’s tiny tank was enough for him to become hooked.
Fish became an obsession.
(Post-War AU where Ahsoka is determined she's going to save Obi-Wan's miniature pond, and Rex is illegally breeding Nabooian salamanders in his one-bedroom apartment.)
