“Hello?” Theta calls out. The Bad Wolf tilts her head. Out of all she has seen with the help of the Vortex—all of the destruction, the war, and the chaos—nobody has noticed her.
“Hello.” She is surprised to hear her own voice. She repeats herself, bringing her hand up to her throat to feel the vibrations.
Theta takes a few steps forward. He peers around the other boy’s shoulder, frowning.
“What is it?” asks the boy, turning around to stare at the same spot as Theta.
Theta shakes his head. “Nothing. I thought I saw someone.”

“Your reputation took a blow,” Pepper tells him. “Which will be fixed, of course. I’ve already set it up.”
“Set what up? What, am I going to make flower arrangements with the elderly?”
Pepper slides a piece of paper towards him. “Try an orphan. His name is Peter Parker. His biggest dream is to meet you. But…” She hesitates.

Or: Galinda is stuck reliving the same day over, and over, and over again. Convincing Elphaba not to run away from the Wizard is surely why she's been cursed to this existence- if only her friend weren't so damn stubborn!
