She pedaled her wares and her tinctures while she chased the rumors of ruins and mana beasts. One day, her life changed when she fished out a golden-haired man. And though their relationship was brief, he left her something that would stay with her forever. Her daughter.
Callisto met his match, the dragon's mate, and was foolish enough to let her go. He couldn't get the commoner Penelope out of his mind and bitterly regretted not fighting harder to convince her to stay and at least let her be put up in one of his residences. Not too long after they parted, the war ends but with it comes the appearance of the ancient enemy. When the continent burns and the monsters roam, they take refuge in a small village where he's reunited with his lover and their daughter.
