Summary

This story starts in the moments after 2009 Dean is pulled from the Endverse back into his own timeline. We follow Endverse Castiel as he’s sucked into the Terrible Life Verse. Confronted with Dean Smith, Castiel begrudgingly tries to deal with the fact that he’s still alive and that he’s stuck with some strange Dean. (Worse yet, he might be developing feelings for this other man.)
But is Castiel the only one who slipped between the cracks between one world and another? And how and why did Castiel end up in Dean Smith’s apartment?

Summary
There was something to be said for the view. A literal paradise stretching in all directions, filled with beauty and life and wonder-- rather than monsters lurking in the shadows, waiting to drag you into the dark.
Another laugh tumbled out of him, disbelieving and wet, a touch of hysteria at the edges. He and Sam had a hand in creating all of this. Two orphan boys, a rogue angel, and the son of Lucifer. Team Free Will 2.0 had done this.
That knowledge definitely made dying a little easier.

He intends to excuse himself. He means to apologise and come back some other time. However, in a moment of blind fear, what comes out of his mouth instead are the words, “Could you spare a moment for Jesus Christ?”

She sighs and unzips it, pulling out t-shirts and jeans, creased where the folds had been, the angles pressed into the fabric. She has enough outfits to last her two weeks, and she puts the clothes away, methodically folding them back up and setting them carefully in her— Eleanor’s— dresser.
She freezes when she sees the hoodie resting at the bottom of the duffle bag, three individually wrapped caramel candies sitting in the hood. She pulls it out, hands shaking, and runs her thumb over the stitching, digging her nails into the pattern.

"We don't even really know each other..." She’s right. They don’t really know each other that well, and he only started to notice her because she asked him to have no-strings-attached sex with her. Their trajectory is illogical and ill-fated.
Doomed.
It doesn’t make sense and if the universe were normal then they would’ve stayed in their seperate orbits, never interacting and never the wiser. Despite the hurt they’re causing each other right now, Paxton still thinks that whatever universe in which he doesn’t know the forceful pull of Devi Vishwakumar would be all the dimmer for it. No, the rules of the universe say they shouldn’t have met. But then Devi defied the universe and crashed into him anyway.
