this series healed something within me...
we all knew what happened to Way and i was one of those people who were devastated about it... i was begging for Way to miraculously come back all throughout Pit Babe II (up until the very end, i was still in denial and grieving for him) and through those days, i had this series with me
this series gave me something that Pit Babe wasn't able to give, and that is Mama Way in his element—yep, i do believe motherhood can help fix him
all jokes aside, i like that this series was able to give Way a second chance in life just as he deserves... despite his flaws and shortcomings as a character, i've always tried to understand why and how Way turned out the way he is, and the fact that his character's closure on Pit Babe was just to die really broke me
he could've started over with Pete
he could've atoned for his mistakes with the pack (much more properly and with time)
he could've started (actually) living his life—enjoying his life for himself, doing what he actually wants, and not what fckass Tony wants, without the fear of losing everything and his life just because he was raised in that kind of environmentthank you for giving Way a second chance in life through this series and thank you for making this series (it was really such a nice experience, i remember refreshing the Pete/Way tag everyday just to check if there's a new part in this series lol) ilysm, i know how dedicated you are with your fics and i'm glad i get to see the outcomes

Summary
Waan and Tul have been online friends for years, but now things begin to change.
Mildly AU because I started writing this a few weeks ago.
Excerpt: When Waan woke, he groaned and reached for his phone. The screen lit, showing the call to “T-Rex” was still connected, counting the seconds of a call that had lasted over eight hours. He must’ve fallen asleep while they were talking. He didn’t remember exactly when, but he knew he’d been lying in bed, speaker phone activated so it had sounded like Tul was in the room with him. Leaning in closer, he heard slow, even breaths over the line. Still asleep. The intimacy of hearing the other man sleep struck him, and his thumb hovered over the disconnect button.
NOW COMPLETE.
