    After escaping the GIW, Danny leaves through the portal, destroying it behind him and effectively closing the ghost zone off from the living realm. Until, months later, Vlad summons him back.

    Danny is stuck in Gotham, trying to stop Vlad while not giving anyone more than he needs them to know. He’s missed being alive more than he can say, but his time is running out, bit by bit.

    Jason, estranged from his family, finds himself living with someone who somehow simultaneously sets off all of his fight or flight responses, and finds himself learning how to be dead while rethinking how he wants to live.

    Meanwhile, Vlad has joined forces with Gotham’s worst, Jazz and Bruce try to protect their families the only ways they know how, and the rest of the bats balance the difference.
