Summary
The Little Nightmares duo are tired of being on the run, constantly trying not to die horribly. They just want somewhere safe to rest, maybe even somewhere with food. The portal probably won't take them anywhere like that, but there's no other option.
The archives crew have been having a rough time, friendships straining or shattered and danger constantly mounting. If only something came to pull them together, something to make them work together and maybe, eventually, work some things out. Maybe then things would be slightly less grim.
When Six and Mono tumble out of a television onto Martin Blackwood's living room floor, both groups find themselves with just a little more hope.

Summary
A knife sat in the middle of their upper torso, crimson liquid slowly rolling down from the wound. Their eyes- and fuck there were a lot- blinked simultaneously before fading into their face. Tim squinted, observing their facial features as recognition slapped him in the face. While there were many differences, such as the piercing green eyes or the many circular holes that dotted their face, he couldn’t help but see the similarities.
They looked exactly like Jon.

Summary
The place that Jon chose to work at might even have records of the different species of mythical creatures. More specifically, if there’s more of them. If they have more abilities than the old leather-bound books Jon read back home speak of. He refuses to believe that a magic thing like a tardigrade can survive extreme temperatures and pressures, air deprivation, radiation, dehydration, and starvation and not have other powers. Maybe they can fly or something. Or magically change sizes, although Jon doubts the books would keep that detail out.
The Magnus Institute…
It sounds stupid, but it has something regarding the esoteric in the name. He might be able to find more information about other magical creatures, and If he’s irresponsible and accidentally gets caught, maybe they won’t strap him to a table and cut him open.

Summary
Jon wasn’t anything special. He was an ordinary researcher at Bright Eye Watchmen, Inc.; not terribly skilled at his job, and certainly not very likeable, but ordinary. He could be a bit too dedicated to unearthing the truth, at least if you listened to what Tim had to say about it, but Jon tried not to make a habit of doing that.
When Jon catches the attention of Elias Bouchard, head of the local research institute, he finds himself wishing he’d listened to Tim just a little more.

Bark-brown, leathery wings pulled away from the creature’s torso, briefly revealing six limbs clinging tightly to the tree trunk above. The eyes that stared down at the man were backlit by a deep, bloody red, except for the pupils. Those were white. Blank, wide, white orbs that watched him.

Jonathan Sims, The Archivist, teaches a year 13 elective class on Paranormal Sciences, because the school board took one look at his resume, saw The Magnus Institute listed as a previous workplace, and went 'we have a better idea' for his History teacher application. His first batch of students are not what he expected in the slightest, featuring: Kyōryokuna ‘Ko’ James, the Collector; Dian Cooper, hypersomniac goth; Christopher 'Kit' Wilson, tired barista; Alex Pierce, amateur paranormal investigator; Zuri Jelani, local sceptic; and Duke Murdock, Slaughter avatar in the making. There are also mugs. A lot of mugs.
Tag along and have a blast in this sandbox of ideas I've started mucking about in. This is my chill project. It's really fun to write.
