Satoru makes some bastardization of a sound, half between a laugh and a cough. “...Whoops?”
“I,” Suguru grits, pinching two fingers together, “am this close to mass murder.” He’s joking. Probably.

“I hear you,” said Sam, rueful. He sighed and tipped his head back, pressing the heels of his hands against his eyes. “But I still kind of feel like I have to save the entire world, if I’m carrying this shield.”
“Sam,” said Bucky, and Sam lowered his hands and opened his eyes to look at him, only to find himself the subject of Bucky’s staring problem yet again. “Let’s just go out there. See who we can help, how."
Taking on the Captain America mantle is all well and good, but unfortunately, it quickly becomes pretty obvious to Sam that carrying the shield doesn't guarantee a paying gig as a superhero—at least, not any kind of job that fits with the kind of Cap Sam wants to be. But when it comes down to it, all Sam wants to do is use the shield to help people, so paying gig or not, he and Bucky set out on the road to do just that, and to figure out what kind of superheroes they want to be. Slowly but surely, they figure out just what kind of partners they want to be too. (Hint: it is not 'just a couple of guys.')

In his eyes is the first glint of light Lucci has seen in them since leaving Water 7.
Even amongst the masterful deception of the other agents, Kaku was the best of them all. He blended in with the Water 7 citizens almost too well: whistling as he worked his sham of a job, expression light with joy that looked far less fake than it should've. Even when he dropped the act behind closed doors, there was still a levity to his demeanor –– a spark that extinguished the moment Nico Robin slugged a bullet into Iceburg's chest.
Given that it hasn't interfered with any of their missions, the fact that he has lost that spark should not matter. It should not matter. And yet––
"We'll take that one," Lucci says before he can stop himself.
Even Hattori gives him a weird look.

Sanji stares at him for a moment, suddenly aware of his deep frown, and he smoothes it away with a brush of his hand as he scoffs. “It’s not funny when you say it, Marimo.”
Zoro laughs. “Oh, but it is when you do?” he asks with a cocked eyebrow and Sanji grins at him, reaching out to shove at his shoulder, well aware that he knocks Zoro slightly off balance only because the swordsman lets him.
“Excuse you,” he retorts, dodging Zoro as he swipes out at him with a large hand, “but I’m fucking hilarious.”
Or, five times Zoro shows affection and the one time Sanji realises (and returns) it.

“No, to do pilates,” Guillermo snarks. “Yes, to eat. You know, that silly thing humans have to do. Which I am, by the way. Still human! In case you had forgotten.”“Stop with this,” Nandor grumbles. And then, “Okay. I will come with you to the McDonald’s. I will get my going-out cloak.”
Guillermo stares at Nandor, who is already turning to walk away. He stammers, “But… why?”
Nandor whirls back around dramatically. “You are the one who wanted to ‘hang out’,” he snaps. “So stop with this questioning.” And then he’s off, stomping up the stairs in an unwarranted hurry.
Or: Guillermo and Nandor try to navigate their "friendship" now that Guillermo is a cool vampire murderer. It's super.

Summary
Then he tells her about the love-sea disease, drowning for someone who may not do the same. He asks her why does the sea do that, why does the sea take? Why is it so full of monsters and loss? And he pauses, remembering the citrus in the air as yellowing pages cocoon him in images of sailors’ puffy bodies with bulging, white eyes and mermaids with sand leaking from their gills. His voice wobbles to the beat of unrelenting waves beyond the kingdom.
“Will it take me too?”
And his mother holds him closer, opening up her chest to bury him amongst the other treasures she keeps. She promises him that the ocean would not let any of their own suffer, my little sea angel. Her chest opens further and a gleaming pearl glistens under Sanji’s admiration.
The sea will always give you what you need.
Sanji nods, easing the words next to Atlas. He holds it up with the weight of the sky so light on his shoulders.
