That was it. Chuuya was going to murder this human.
“Ow!” the man shrieked, pulling his fingers out of reach of Chuuya’s furiously snapping pincers. “I was kidding, little crab—I was kidding—!”(Or: Chuuya tries to save Akutagawa from the consequences of the mermaid prince's terrible decisions, and in the process winds up making some questionable choices of his own.)

Atsushi is still half asleep, one hand holding his cellphone and the other rubbing tears from his eyes as he yawns, when he opens the Agency’s office door. But any last dregs of sleep are chased away by his skyrocketing heart rate when he realizes Kyouka and Yosano have blades drawn, Kenji is ready to throw the couch, and Kunikida’s gun is raised.
At him.
Before he can raise his hands to surrender, Dazai’s smooth voice calls out to him in a tone so icy Atsushi is certain has never been directed at him before, “To what do we owe the pleasure of a visit from the Port Mafia’s rabid tiger on this fine morning?”
Atsushi’s eyes flick to the open cell in his hand where he sees one unread text message from a contact named “Boss”: Ah, Atsushi-kun! If you would be so kind as to drop by my office at your earliest convenience, that would be much appreciated <3
Fukuzawa wouldn’t use such flowery language or a heart emoji. So who…? Wait. “Port Mafia’s rabid tiger”? This text couldn’t be from Mori, could it?
