Chaos and the butterfly effect ensues.

And it's not the color or the shape or anything else specific that they can name, but you know what it is. It's not something they can see. It's what you can see, but they can't.
You can see ghosts.
Simple as that.
You see them as clear as the people walking in the streets and hear them as crisp as the songs you hear on the radio.
Ghosts, to you, are many things. They can be people who used to be alive, sure, but not always. Sometimes it's a tree that used to be in the park or someone's front yard. Sometimes a ghost is the sound of an extinct bird. A ghost can be a lot of things. A memory, a daydream, a secret. Grief, anger, guilt, resentment, joy, youth, nostalgia, love... But in your experience? Most times they're just what we want to see. Most times, a ghost is a wish. A wish that was never granted, and usually never will.
You see them as distinctively as the living.
Perhaps that's why you got into this situation in the first place.
