Agony filled his lungs making it hard to breathe. His shiny green eyes were wet with trapped tears, his voice sounded hoarse. Iwaizumi needed his lover to react in some way, to accept his advice and look back on his actions, to see something out of his own selfish self. To show he was still there.
Instead, he was presented with a tired sigh. Regarded by empty, dark eyes.

Damian wasn’t actually looking Tim in the eye, instead looking at some arbitrary spot on the ground. His eyes were still glassy, a single perfect tear rolling down his cheek.
“If I did…” Damian croaked. “Father would fix it, correct? He yells at you when you make mistakes but then he fixes it, doesn’t he?”
“First of all,” Tim said, trying to keep his voice light. “Rude. It’s not like I’m constantly making mistakes for Bruce to clean up after. Secondly, sure, I guess. Though usually he turns it into some kind of annoying lesson and helps us make up for it instead of just fixing whatever happened. Did you… Make a mistake?”
“I don’t make mistakes.” Damian snapped.
Then, he ducked his head low, hiding behind his knees.
