She arrived every morning a solid fifteen minutes before her employer, she had a beautiful filing system and a ruthless rolodex, she smiled politely at even the most sexist and demeaning of comments, and no task was too lowly or menial for her to complete.
It was a pity, really, that she wasn’t actually a secretary. She would have been good at it. But she wasn’t just good at her job, she was very, very good, and as a bonus she took home two paychecks at the end of every month.
No, Nina Zenik was no secretary. She was a corporate spy, and the best in the game to boot.

"No 'what's in it for me'? What happened to never something for nothing?”

Inej needs a powerful man dead. Kaz, busy conducting 'renovations' across the West Stave and feuding with famous stage actors, is glad to have the opportunity to eliminate a threat.
