Summary
Set mid-Season 2, after episode 6, Through a Glass Darkly. Out of favor with the King, Treville and d'Artagnan are assigned to transport two prisoners from Paris to Soissons. When their party is ambushed and they are taken prisoner, Rochefort grounds the Musketeers and sends the Red Guard after the prisoners under the guise of protecting the King. But the Inseparables mount their own, dangerous rescue mission, brotherhood holding more importance than a doomed outcome.
“We’d ride through fire for you, Captain, but…,” Porthos tipped his head toward the Gascon sleeping across from him, “we’d burn the world down for that one.”

"Heard of it," it is not much of a surprise. No one outside of witchers and a few trusted friends actually know where the keep is located but they know that is where witchers on this continent come from, disappearing each winter and then reappearing each spring.
"Of course," Jaskier huffs as offended as he can be when his vision is starting to swim and he is being pulled back down his body needing to rest and heal. "All the best songs are about the witcher’s that hail from it." There are a few moments of quiet where a normal man would think the bard fell asleep before he softly says, "take me up the mountain."

After failing to convince Jaskier to stay with him, Radovid changes plans and has Geralt brought to his tent. Radovid wants Geralt to hand Jaskier over to him.
Now, since Geralt knows how dangerous this journey he’s currently on is, he starts to wonder if the bard would be safer without him. Geralt and Radovid begin bargaining over Jaskier.
But later, when Geralt gets involved in a plot to kill Radovid. The witcher's only request is to get Jaskier to safety.
