Did you have to carve out my heart with a rusty spoon?
I love this modern AU. Your Laurie and Jo -- indeed all the characters -- feel like LMA's.
My favorite line: "Jo bares her teeth like a weapon."
Gorgeous details, like Jo not kissing Laurie, but biting his lip, and Laurie biting his lip when they run into each other at the coffee shop after months of hiding.
Thanks for writing and sharing this sharp-edged piece of tragedy. <3
