Summary
Seven years after the events of Royal, Akechi Goro is working at his part-time job in Osaka when he runs into one Kitagawa Yusuke. Though Yusuke promises to keep his secret for now, it's only a matter of time before Akechi will have to face his past properly.
Post-canon exploration of Akechi as a wild card. There's not particularly a Metaverse involved, but a lot of game elements are applied to the overworld. Pre-written fic

Summary
♠ - It's always hard to tell if Akechi is doing his normal prickly thing or if he's mad about something specific. It's a good thing Akira finds it interesting (and kind of funny).
♤ - Akira took the time to see every single one of them. And in their homes no less. What the hell are they doing in there? Goro kept tabs on these people for months and they've never brought him home with them. All of them, in one week? One has to wonder if there isn't something salacious about all of this.

Akechi continues to
stalkmonitor Akira in the new year, and what he witnesses leaves him unsettled, and weirdly upset. The misunderstanding comes to a head when Akira invites him to Jazz Jin. -

Summary
Against his better judgment, Akira seeks out Akechi in the days following 11/20, and asks him to join their cause against Shido. After a physical squabble, Akechi agrees but has his own terms.
kind of ended up being a self-indulgent "December but it's Just Akechi" fic, which wasn't the plan but we're here anyway
Inspired by "Don't Think Twice" by Hikaru Utada, for datahearts in the Mixtape Exchange! i hope you like it!

Summary
"'Uh…' Akira starts. 'These vines won’t let me help you.'
'That’s fine,' Akechi says, seemingly unperturbed. 'I can get out of this myself, I assure you.'
So Akira watches. He watches for several moments as Akechi tries to find a way out of the vines. He tugs, wriggles and pulls—no dice. The vines are still perfectly wrapped around him like a snake coiling its prey. It almost seems that the more he struggles, the worse they tighten.
Akira doesn’t know how to broach the topic, so he tries eloquently, 'Do you think you’re, uh, stuck stuck?'
'Use that glorious intellect of yours, Joker,' Akechi hisses. 'What do you think it looks like?'
After mishandling the research flora in Maruki's Palace, Akechi finds himself trapped in an array of vines. The only way to get out is with Akira's aide, but being trapped drudges up feelings Akechi never wanted to bring to the surface...

Summary
"What about our rematch?"
Goro blinks and turns his head. "What about it?"
"If you're… then… It shouldn't wait."
"What?" he says, turning around, "So you want to do it right now?" It's sarcastic, but Akira doesn't miss a beat.
"Yes."
"You cannot be serious. We have a battle with a Palace ruler. Tomorrow." Goro lifts his hands in question. "We should prioriti—"
"Oh, I'm serious." He's cut off again, and Akira walks right past him and out the door. A little jingle confirms his exit.
or, the prompt I based this off of:
On 2/2 after the calling card Akira’s just like “fuck it Akechi, I’m sosadmad at you for not telling me you were dead, let’s go into the Metaverse right now and finish our duel” and Akechi is like “what ok lmao” so they go into the Metaverse and they start with fighting each other with their personas. But as time goes on they start to get really weak and then it just gets personal. Akira just starts beating the shit out of Akechi and then they both break down. And then maybe they FUCK in the Metaverse and have some really emotional sex.

Summary
What are the odds Akira's best friend who's also his drug dealer who's also his hopeless crush might actually reciprocate his perhaps ill-advised feelings? Not great, he's convinced himself. Stunningly bad, in fact.
So—since this theory is obviously infallible—what's the harm in testing it? Any good mathematician would, and any actuary worth their salt would have no excuse not to, if only to calculate the risks at play. Nothing's going to happen, surely.
Surely.

Summary
Goro swallows, remembering how to speak. “Who are you?”
He swears he can feel the darkness smile. Your saviour. Or your doom. I wonder, pretty human, if you’re willing to make a bargain with me?
A bargain with a demon. For that is what this presence must be, there’s no doubt about it. Goro’s spent his whole life being warned against conversing too much with the beings that grant protection and favour, their whims so changing.
But he has little choice now.
“Name your terms,” he says.
Be my bride. Or die here.

Summary
The drinks were a terrible idea. This can’t be normal. Sure, Akira’s hormones often cause somewhat rash decisions but they’ve never crowded in his veins and mind so loudly he can’t focus. He can almost taste how much he simply wants, gravitating towards Goro in the room as the team reconvenes.

The consequences of drinking strange items found in Mementos catch up to Akira and Goro.

Summary
“We are all aware of the declining birth rates in Japan. One factor in this is a lack of physical affection. This leads to touch starvation.
Touch starvation is a medical condition that occurs in those who lack physical contact with others. Some symptoms of this include aggression, lack of empathy, loneliness, depression, sexual dysfunction, body image issues, high levels of stress, finding relationships unsatisfying, and a growing fear of attachment.
This can all be remedied by slowly increasing the amount of physical affection in your life. You can do this safely by cuddling a pet or taking warm showers, but the best cure is finding affection in another person.”“An intriguing concept for sure, though it seems to be more pseudoscience than actual fact.” Akechi says, seemingly casual about it, but Ren can tell he’s hoping for a debate.
