    Bookmarker's Notes

This work has rendered me speechless with how well-executed it is. While I can't say a lot about the relationship execution, as it is only shown from the perspective of media, the whole plot is entertaining, and it kweps in suspense. We can definitely notice the way that cookies are animated like real personas - they joke, they laugh, and oftentimes are not that serious. This is really outstanding, with the sheer amount of thought put to it. What really makes it so great is the care that author put into the work with recreating social media formats. They make it feel like you're reading a real Twitter [Twizzler], or Tumblr [Crumblr]. The personality of Shadow Milk Cookie is more outlined than that of Pure Vanilla Cookie, but we can safely assume that it is because he is the bigger focus of the work. He is written well, and it's hard to point out any out of character behaviors. Truly a great work, and despite this not being the format I find myself indulging in, I was in the state of great enjoyment while letting myself get pulled by the contents of this fanfiction. Best regards to the author, who did an outstanding job in making all of this feel real. I would like to see more from this person in the future.

    The room is too bright.

It’s quaint, in a nauseating sort of way. Polished floors glint from the gleaming honeycomb chandeliers overhead, make him squint. A few vases sprinkled here and there, filling the room with a sickeningly sweet scent – even a waffle-cone headrest framing the silken sheets of a neatly-tucked bed. Outside, the golden sun gleams, the gentle rays of light spilling past curtains that waver in the afternoon breeze.

It's meant to be beautiful. Luxurious. Welcoming.

With one sweep of his cane, Shadow Milk tears it apart.

    Bookmarker's Notes

"Jambound" by an Anonymous writer Jamma is not a story for everyone. It trips over the very difficult concept of emotions, showing how the characters struggle with understanding each other while at the same time knowing what the other feels, because they share such impulse. Each ending of a chapter lures into the next one, making the reading sessions long, but not tiring. Keeping your gaze away is harder than separating the mixture of salt and sugar.
The language used blooms like a royal garden, teasing the reader with the simplicity at rare moments, and leaving awed by the beauty and complexity of it at the other times. The writing in itself is done like it should be: professional, but lenient. There are uses of modern slang used mostly by teenagers, like "skill issue" or the overuse of "18th letter of the Grecookian (do I remember it right?) alphabet," which probably refers to the letter of sigma (Σ.)
The translation to the Cookie Run way of describing doesn't feel forced. Actually, it feels very natural. I didn't notice any slip ups as I read, but maybe I missed it. I doubt nonetheless, because I really have nothing to say about mistakes and grammar errors: I simply found none. The only problem that might occur is with translation to other languages, but that's not something the author can control, so it's water under the bridge.
The attempt at showing the complexity of love was on point. The feelings weren't understood by the main characters, but gradually their comprehension grew, until they could name it without hesitation.
As for my impression... I waited for the first kiss for a very long time, and to be honest, I still feel like there was too little "food" being served, despite the further affections gradually growing to be a more frequent occurence.
My rate is clear. It's a solid 10/10, and I sure will read this work again, because it resonated with me deeply. The character development, the description, and their behavior suited the given men, making the reading more natural, since I already knew the characters. I didn't have to learn "new" characters. (By that I mean, no OOC occured, so there was nothing new about the characters to learn.) I think I'm too sleep deprived to really write anything meaningful. I hope the author will keep up their great work.
