Unfortunately his best friend is 1. not gay and 2. a simp for goth girls, so Sasuke is stuck finding a replacement to sleep with, rejecting Naruto’s drunken advances, and being a good friend. It's an uphill battle of monstrous proportions and Sasuke just wishes he could take the easy way out by shoving his five years of pining off a cliff.
Instead, he ends up wearing all black after a photoshoot gone wrong and Naruto shows him firsthand how deep his affinity for goths really runs, and the uphill battle just gets that much harder.

Naruto gasped to hear it, but what else did he expect to hear? The last timeshe'd seen him was when he was nine, then he hadn't come to class again, hadn't taken exams, had never seen him around Konoha and… How could he be an ANBU if he hadn't even been enrolled in the chūnin? -

Maybe he made a mistake by being nice to him and calling his dad a hero. The bratty jerk was easier to deal with than a clingy six-year-old.
This is the same person who will one day become one of the most feared shinobi.
The knowledge of the future feels like a curse once more.
Or, after dying in the Fourth War, Obito wakes up in the past. Problems transpire.
