Summary
Common understanding is that a Mark is the name of a soulmate, but he knows that’s not true because his don’t match. There are theories that Marks are the will of the gods, but there are no gods so he doesn’t believe that either. Then there are the ones who say the Marks are who you want the most, the ones that you yearn for with your soul, not not just your body or heart. But that’s not right, either.

Summary
Jaime has been king of the Seven Kingdoms for seventeen years, following the death of the Mad King. He's eschewed brides from every kingdom and beyond, utterly uninterested in the manipulations of the Great Families of Westeros. But he does need an heir, and so he settles on the child, Sansa Stark. The Honorable Ned Stark will not use underhanded methods with Jaime, even with his low opinion of the king, and will insist on a long engagement until his daughter comes of age, which suits Jaime's purposes perfectly.
These are threads from an rp exploring the idea of Jaime as King of Westeros, with Sansa as his queen. Segments are not necessarily chronological!
