Getting bored of the repetitive nature of the games, the Spectre employs a new trick to set its captives on edge in their free time by making the survivor's relive their worst memories in front of a captive audience.
007n7 is the latest victim, and things come to light that he would have preferred stay buried forever.

Summary
Killing p.AI.nter could certainly make for an interesting change of pace, and normally that would be more than enough to pique your interest, but there would be no point. Not now, anyway. Nothing you do ever sticks around for long enough to matter, and you’d rather not get on Sebastian’s bad side if you can help it. He’s never killed you before, but you’re no fool. He’s got a nasty set of claws and a bad temper to match; you’re not about to tango with that, especially not when he’s one of the few willing to go out of his way to do you a favour. No biting the hand, or whatever. High risk, low reward, and definitely not worth the hassle.
Maybe sparing p.AI.nter wasn't such a good idea.

Once one becomes acquainted with their own personal routine, it may become difficult for one to part from it. Neuvillette was no different in that regard. He had become used to a five-hundred-year long ceaseless consistency that had suddenly been upended in the most outrageous manner, and all in the span of what could not have been much more than a couple of months. Maybe one could forgive him for not realising the fragility of his position in time to avoid a potential disaster.
Retrospectively, however, it was obvious that there was a high chance of a third party attempting to take advantage of the precarious political situation in Fontaine.
Neuvillette just hadn't thought that it would happen so soon.
During the reconstruction of Fontaine post-AQ, Neuvillette is abducted by those attempting to exploit the Nation's instability. When he wakes, he finds that he is not the only one taken, nor is his Nation the only target.

Her gaze flickered up to them, then back down to her hand. She removed it from her side, carefully, hesitantly, and it came away slicked with an unmistakable red. Blood.
It dawned on him in that instant. The bullet may have missed Bennett, but it hadn't missed Fischl.
Diluc, Kaeya, Bennett and Fischl all team up to investigate a domain with suspicious Fatui activity. Not all of them make it out unscathed.

A malfunctioning space bridge causes Whirl, and his definitely-totally-arch-nemesis Cyclonus, to land on a planet outside of the charted universe. A planet far away from the war, whose inhabitants seem to be dead set on forcing the two of them to learn how to (ugh) live normal, healthy lives, where they talk about their feeeeelings and make friends with weird, organic little slime blobs. Ugh.
Whirl would rather die, thanks.
Or, in which Tailgate is a Slime Rancher, and gets a couple of emotionally stunted, war-hardened idiots dropped on his lawn.

Kaito hates Kokichi… but he hates the killing game even more. In the cold, cavernous Exisal hangar, Kaito stares into the poison-fevered eyes of the Ultimate Supreme Leader and makes a decision: the killing game is over. He will not kill Kokichi. He will not drop the press and entomb this child inside the killing game he claims to despise. So, Kaito comes up with a plan to save Kokichi’s life, but to pull it off, the two of them will have to work together inside the Exisal, trick Monokuma into reaching a false verdict, and end the class trial before Kokichi succumbs to the Strike-9 poison.

The Wraith had always thought that he was doing the right thing serving as Reaper for the Spirit who'd found him, but when his prey begins acting in ways which make him question that, things in The Entity's realm start to go in directions it won't allow. Any time those barely surviving choose to take a stand, there is always a price to pay, and in a cyclical living nightmare like this, how much can the survivors really afford to believe in?
Is it truly possible for there to be any good end when you're already in hell?
