Dream watched George's face urgently, looking for any sign. Maybe he'd waited just a moment too long? Maybe he'd just… done it wrong? He'd never tried this before, obviously, but he was pretty sure his mother hadn't either, or grandmother. Maybe it wasn't even something they actually could do, and it was just a myth that had been started by his great-grandmother.
Maybe he'd failed.

Summary
George is pretty sure he's dying when he sees them for the first time. Well, he knows he's dying regardless but, like, maybe this is the exact moment.
They're white shapes out in the distance at first, moving slowly between the ice flows, but deliberately and against the waves. It's just a couple of flashes of white and grey disappearing under the water initially, but as they get closer he's able to make out flukes and fins.
His first thought is that it's a pack of orcas that are coming up to try and grab him like a seal. A ridiculous thought, but he stopped being able to feel his toes three days ago and hasn't eaten in even longer. So he's probably not in his right mind anyway.

Summary
When a normal looking egg given to him by a wandering trader hatches out into a hen with strange, sparkling feathers, Dream is cast out of his small town by his neighbours, who fear that he’s brought a curse down on them all. Kicked out and with just a chicken to his name, Dream decides to go visit an old friend on his way to the capital, where he might be able to find a buyer for such a strange bird. The chicken turns out to be magic in more ways than just the obvious, and one thing leads to another until Dream finds himself locked up in the castle. On penalty of death, the king gives Dream three impossible challenges to complete. If he succeeds, he'll win the hand of the prince in marriage. If he fails, well.

Dream had overgrown dirty blond hair that, even over saturated with salty water, still fell in soft curls over his forehead and down around his ears. Lots of freckles. Like, a lot of freckles. Filling in the darkened skin under his eyes and tracing the lines of his pale shoulders. Pale broad shoulders. Striking green eyes. And a flipper. Yeah.
So George had – reasonably – freaked out a little as he not only accidentally pulled a man out of the water with his fishing line but immediately found out that said man was part fucking fish.
“I’m not part fish,” Dream said with a scoff. “I’m a sea monster. It’s not the same at all, really. I don’t even have gills.”

Summary
In sixteen ninety-one Salem, George is a witch doing what it takes to survive after fleeing London. He meets a stranger who possesses a determined attitude and suffers under relentless strange dreams. With a little convincing, George sets out to help the man he names ‘Dream’. Helping Dream leads to a friendship that blends into something more as George does his best to keep them both afloat while the new threat of the Salem witch trials looms over both of their heads.
In twenty twenty-four Salem, George has reincarnated into a better, safer life. He runs a downtown witch shop named ‘True Witch’ with his close friend Sapnap and loves every second of it, but something is still missing. After reuniting with a Dream who has no memories of their past life together, George has to find a way to push himself back into Dream’s life without losing everything a second time.
Or, George is a witch in both lives, and a good one at that.
