Summary
"What was that?" Lance hissed, chest heaving.
"I don’t know,” Keith snapped, pressing his fingers next to the jellyfish outline. He could feel the burning heat of the injured skin through his gloves. “This is why you don’t mess with the alien ocean, Lance!"
"Stop it!" Lance punched at the sand.
"How am I supposed to stop this!"
"Pee on me," Lance groaned in pain again.
Keith froze as his brain rebooted for a moment. "I’m sorry, what?"
(Just to clarify, this is not a smut story. I haven't gotten around to writing one of those *yet*)

Summary
Lance has felt alone for a long, long time. Stuck in space, without his family and no one to share his secret with, he is adrift in a sea of stars.
But when it turns out that Keith might be a lot more like him than either of them ever expected, all bets are off. That is, if Keith can manage to get past Lance’s defences. Years of burdening a secret alone aren’t easy to dismiss, but Keith is certainly willing to try.Or: Reverse sunshine and grumpy progression with our favourite red and blue boys and a little sprinkle of mythical creatures.

“Why the fuck do you have that?”
Lance always prided himself on keeping his belongings safe. Ever since he was a little boy he would take special care of his toys, stuffed animals, basically everything precious to him. Always made sure they never got lost, never went missing or anything. Until right now, apparently.
“Keith why the fuck do you have that?”
After years and years of taking care of his letters, his love letters, they suddenly go out in public. Suddenly go missing from his special blue box buried deep in the drawers of his room at the Garrison. Even after taking care of his box out in space, just when the go back to Earth is when the letters are sent. Why?
“Answer me!”

Summary
“My Abuela said it,” Silvio insists. “She said you have to wear the hat, because you have a pale ass so you’re going to get skin cancer and die before Lance even wakes up.”
Keith looks between the children and the hat, too confused to glare, sweaty and horrid from pulling weeds beneath the scorching sun. “What?”
“That’s wrong,” Nadia complains, and yanks her brother down to her level to whisper the correction in his ear.
“Ooh,” Silvio amends. “Tía Veronica said you have a pale ass. My Abuela said you’re gonna die.”
OR
When Lance is fatally wounded during their final battle, the blue lion enters a deep hibernation with Lance inside. Unsure when or if he’ll wake, Keith is forced to wait and watch over him in the company of the people he fears most: Lance’s family.

Summary
Keith has never been so nervous--not while fighting the Galra, and certainly not while flying a massive metal lion--than he is to meet Lance's family. It's stupid, he thinks, being afraid of a room full of people his boyfriend adores, but he's better suited for fighting, which is why he's glad he's only staying two weeks.
Lance is wrong three times: he thought returning home would be easy, he thought Keith had the same plans as him, and he thought he was done with the war.
Or: when Allura dies, they don't get to say goodbye. Grief, Altean marks, and all that follows.
