Summary
Severus Snape knew there was no way to escape from death, so he accepted it with dignity, completing his final task. Or at least he thought he had it. It was some time before he regained consciousness and it’s hard to say what was worse then: the fact that he survived, or Potter sitting by his hospital bed.
As part of coming to terms with his new reality, Severus chased the kid away and waited. Slowly recovering, he waited for the verdict. He waited for the ministerial vultures to take away the last scraps of his dignity and for them to sweep with his remains the Azkaban’s floor. He waited a year. Two years. Five.
In the meantime Harry Potter disappeared in thin air. Snape refused to think about where he was or what the Chosen One was doing. Surely the boy had some absurdly stupid reason for disappearing off the radar. Even if the Ministry had declared Potter’s missing. Even if the Order had been looking for him several years.
Snape was too busy with his own hermit lifestyle to have time to think about Harry Potter. At least until March 2007.

Summary
Voldemort's possession of Harry during the events at the Department of Mysteries triggers a latent telepathic ability. Harry's mind begins reaching out to Riddle every night during his sleep, and Riddle takes advantage of that to cast Imperius on Harry, attempting to coerce him into murdering anyone and anything near him. Harry keeps the dreams quiet for fear of being locked up, but when he returns to school, he soon finds dealing with his nightmares and visions, not to mention flaky friends, unwanted advances, and a Snape who's more abusive than ever too much to handle alone. Will Harry survive when the entire world has turned against him and his closest ally comes from the last place he would ever expect?
AU notes: Harry et al are aged up one year to avoid underage issues. Harry is 16 at the start of the story, 17 in chapter 2, and 18 before any real romantic stuff begins.

Summary
During Harry's fourth year at Hogwarts everything spirals out of control.
To his surprise, the person who comes looking for him at night, when he cries all alone in the dark corridors, is Snape. Snape, who he's weirdly obsessed with. Snape, who disgruntledly takes care of him, soothes him and, inevitably, loves him. It is the only thing that keeps Harry sane.
A reimagining of the books Five through Seven, making sure both Harry and Severus get what they deserve. Each other.

1. To break at once into pieces
2. to damage badly : ruin“You think this will ease your suffering,” Severus said, squeezing Harry’s wrists still clasped in his hands. “But it won’t. It will destroy you.” I will destroy you.
“I want you to,” Harry murmured, and Severus' resistance wasn't enough to keep him from being pulled closer, Potter’s breath feathering across his lips. And in some ways, the fact that his eyes were closed made it worse - made the words whispered against his mouth all the more obscene: “I want you to tear me apart.”***
Harry and Severus tumble into an intensely inappropriate physical relationship after events at Headquarters spiral out of control. Severus, digging his heels in, tries to stop, but he is just not strong enough.
