"It's ten in the morning," she says, still judging him for conning the flight attendant out of more liquor. He's already rocking a nice buzz, and he'd like to keep building on it, thank you very much.
"You can't drink all day if you don't start in the morning," he retorts, stretching out in his seat, putting his bare foot up on the armrest of the aisle seat guy in the row in front of him.
"Steve," Robin hisses, pressing on his knee, trying to get him to put his foot down. Then she leans towards the row in front of theirs, "I'm so sorry, he's not usually this feral."
She can't budge him, despite her best efforts. He refuses to move. That is, until the guy whose seat he's encroaching on runs his fingers up the sole of Steve's foot. That's enough to make Steve jerk his leg back reflectively, ticklish, unable to stop himself.

Summary
Robin Buckley, keyboardist and lead singer of Tammy's Flowers, popular local pop band, is trying to move on after a heartbreak. Thankfully, she has her friends, her band, and her best friend to cheer her up.
Steve Harrington is known for three things: his voluminous hair, his flirting skills, and his incessant support for Tammy's Flowers, despite his hatred for the name. Hideout staff nicknamed him as "overly supportive boyfriend".
Eddie Munson is a busy man: plays with his band three times a week, then they practice, he writes music, works at the local game store and, when he gets free time, he spends it with his uncle. In his busy schedule, there's no time for pining after cute boys, especially those who are taken.
Nancy Wheeler, ex-journalist, has only one goal set on her mind: be the best manager Corroded Coffin has ever had and bring them to success. She has managed to get them a place in the most popular bar in the local scene: the Hideout. She just needs to make sure they stand a chance playing after the beloved Tammy's Flowers.

Summary
After his brush with death, Eddie awakens to find himself in a plaid room with plaid sheets and Steve Harrington watching over him. The road to recovery is lined with realizations; his bravery was actually selfishness, his feelings for the former King of Hawkins Hight might be more than just a little crush, and - worst of all - he's dying. Doing what Munson's do best, Eddie runs leaving a shell-shocked Steve to pick up the pieces of a relationship that could have been.
Over the next several years Eddie's career skyrockets while Steve's left to face the aftermath of the end of the world alone.
