Summary
It's the start of junior year, and I can’t believe Gareth Emerson and my best friend Barbara Holland are dating.
If I wasn’t blindsighted enough, now Barb wants to set me up with his best friend Eddie Munson and drag me to this club called Hellfire or the band practice for Corroded Coffin. What's more, there's a new kid who moved here from California and I might actually know him.
Some things haven't changed though; Barb and Nancy still hate each other, my parents are still six feet under, and I'll never find the amazing mystery boy I met last year since he probably already graduated by now.
All the while, I just wish I had my mom and dad here. There’s so many things I wish I could tell them. Sometimes, I even wish mystery boy was here too, and I wouldn’t have to go through all this alone.

Summary
Mary Wheeler hadn't thought she'd ever end up in the bumfuck of a town her cousins called home, but here she was anyway, facing down a tiny high school where everyone knew everyone and newcomers weren't exactly welcomed with open arms. Then again, she hadn't been expecting a town called Hawkins in the middle of Indiana to be the hub for so much strange activity, especially with a strange bald child in the centre of it all and her cousins somehow caught in the storm.

Summary
“Mr. Emerson,” Mr. Widgers started, playing with the chalk in his hands, “I think you have a perfectly fine seat right there,” he pointed next to you, “wouldn’t you agree?”
Gareth glared at him exasperatingly for a brief moment, before shrugging and mumbling a quick, “fine.” He picked up his things, sauntering begrudgingly over to you, and tossing the things atop the desk so they’d slam. It earned a fair couple of snickers, and you just caved in on yourself as he threw himself down.
After a moment, Gareth turned towards you, a bit of both annoyance and hatred in his eyes. He scanned up and down you, before looking you right in the eyes and whispering, “since it seems as though we’re gonna have to spend a lot of time together, I just thought you should know that I really, really hate cheerleaders.”
You blinked, taken aback, “excuse me?”
“You heard me,” he spat, smirking. He leaned in, fire and pride in his eyes, echoing, “you heard me.” He then turned away from you, slumping back in his chair and pretending to focus back on Mr. Widgers.

Summary
Clover Wallace is eighteen years old when she leaves behind the familiar mountains of Colorado for the quiet, eerie streets of Hawkins. She moves with her father—once a respected teacher, now a disgraced man struggling with the weight of his own demons. He’s promised Clover he’ll stop drinking, get his act together, and be the father she deserves. It’s not the first time he’s made that promise.
For most of her life, Clover has lived in the shadow of his abuse—both emotional and physical. Isolated and manipulated into silence, she’s learned not to trust easily, to keep her head down, and to avoid forming close relationships. For the first time, she’ll get to know her aunt, Claudia, and her cousin Dustin, relatives she’s never met but longs to connect with.
Starting senior year as the new girl in a small town isn’t easy, but Clover is determined. She’s ready to figure out who she is outside of her father’s control. She wants real friendships, a life of her own—and maybe even love. There’s a certain local metalhead who catches her eye, and for once, she feels like maybe, just maybe, she deserves something good. -

Summary
“You think they’ll actually find someone to fill in for Jeff?”
Eddie shrugs, “I trust them, man. Somethin’ about those innocent little freshman faces.”
That is, until Steve Harrington walks through the door of the library.
---
Steve Harrington's presence is definitely not something Eddie Munson needs right now. Yet, somehow, they keep meeting. Or rather, Steve keeps accidentally incorporating himself into the metalhead's life, and it's driving them both insane.

Summary
Cera Burton was never supposed to end up in Hawkins. But after the night her best friend was killed—and the shadows inside her answered back—running wasn’t an option. Now she’s the new girl with too many secrets, a fake smile, and eyes that never stop scanning for exits.
Then there’s Eddie Munson: loud, chaotic, too observant for his own good. He shouldn’t matter. But somehow between D&D, heavy metal, and late nights at the record store, he starts to.
She didn’t mean to care. And she definitely didn’t mean to get noticed by the people who made her a target in the first place.
The deeper Cera falls into Eddie’s world, the more dangerous it becomes for everyone she lets close. Because Hawkins isn’t safe—and neither is she.
And monsters wear more than one face.

Summary
Mike Wheeler discovers a new pub suggested by Eddie Munson, his current mentor in the hellfire club, and decides to take El there for a couple of fates before he finally remembers, he's been there before....
“How long did you last?”
“Hm?” Eddie was too lost to focus on Mike.
“I mean with Johnathan”.
“About three months. I asked him out in August of that year, but then he was just too tired to continue hanging out with me…”
A somber look on Mike's eyes. “He wasn't”. Eddie narrowed his eyebrows.
“Losing Will wrecked him more than it wrecked me” Michael confessed.
“Wait, Zombie boy was your friend?”
“Don't call him that” Mike defended him. “He was lost for six days, even the cops were unable to find him”.
“Sorry…” Eddie spoke. “He moved away too, right?”
Mike nodded bitterly. “El too, of course”.
“Who's El?”
"Someone"
“No one-” Dustin joined in with Mike to cut the mess from getting wild.
“I presume you and this kid- Will, you were close, right?” Eddie softened his gaze. He's seen this film before.
“I suppose so…” Mike mumbled, goggling his eyes to Dustin's reaction.
“Oh, absolutely”. -

Summary
Eddie Munson loved the theater because of his dad, Alan Munson. But after that day Eddie hasn't been the same. He hasn't felt the same. That's until this popular asshole sang his favorite song from a musical his dad introduced him to. It unlocked something in him he'd forgotten and maybe made him fall a little in love. Just a little.

Summary
Getting lost in the woods while trying larping for the first time was definitely not something Eddie had planned. And then somehow ending up in none other than King Steve's backyard? No way! And then adding almost drowning to his list of problems? He should’ve just stuck to the table. Not to mention Steve apparently wanted to take care of him? At first Eddie just thought Steve was afraid Eddie was gonna sue him for almost drowning in his pool, like he wasn’t trespassing in the first place, but Steve actually looked offended by the idea.
Updates every Saturday (for now)College is kind of a pain, so I’m on temporary leave, sorry.

Summary
March 27th, 1986. For a minute, I was glad you wouldn’t hear my name on the news tomorrow morning like I did yours. I just went on existential strike, somewhere caught in not wanting to be alive and not wanting to off myself because I promised myself I’d keep an eye on Max. Someone had to–-hell, I could practically feel you threatening me from the grave if I didn’t. And maybe that’s why I did it. More likely, it was just some pathetic way to keep you around. I’m just a guy, I wasn’t supposed to be grieving the love of my life at a ripe old nineteen years old. Guess I’m still grieving now, at twenty.
I did my best. I hope you know that, California–I did my fucking best. Fuck, I don’t even cringe away at Kate Bush anymore… I just hope it meant something. I hope she made it.
Sorry, though. You’ll have to tell Chrissy sorry for me. I don’t think I’m going to be able to do it myself.
A rewrite between the lines of seasons 2 to 4 through Eddie's eyes as journal entries, for everyone like me wanting a longer Mungrove fic without it turning into Metalsandwich. (Sorry Steve). Title is from New Dawn Fades by Joy Division.
