As soon as it’s finished, he packs and polishes everything up, then takes the box to Viktor.

In which: Viktor and Jayce have been anonymously and generously commissioned to invent the prototype of a new invention, the "Hexstrap". The day after they receive the inquiry, Jayce avoids work for the first time since Hextech was founded, then struggles to maintain a healthy distance with Viktor upon returning. Despite his efforts, Jayce gets a little too close to his partner for comfort on Christmas; then finds himself accidentally suggesting experimental sex for the sake of "ethical test practices."
Viktor—much to his surprise—is amicable to the proposal, with some unexpected suggestions on the best approach. This results in Jayce discovering something new about himself and his desires while in a compromising position.

This ludicrous device was never a part of the Hextech partner's expansive agendas originally, but the offer of a life-changing lump sum check combined with the very explicit condition of being granted permission to "use any excess funds as they so desire or need", proves itself to be far too tempting of an offer for the up-and-coming Hextech Industries to pass up. Though it seems unethical at first, not to mention undoubtedly hedonistic and lewd, who knows what other doors the profits related to this invention could open? And what kind of inventors could Jayce and Viktor claim themselves to be, if they didn't thoroughly and personally test their own product first-hand?
(AKA i needed an excuse to write T4T jayvik fucking and falling in love in an ever-so-slightly "lower stakes" setting bc i'm feral for them.)
