There was no point in fighting or making excuses. He took out his earphone again, closed the lid of his laptop, and folded his hands. Matt sighed, the corners of his mouth turned up, and wrinkles formed around his watery eyes.
“Yes, I'm asking you out on a date,” he said quietly.
