Summary
This takes place after S4-E10 'Who's da New King of Hell'. Lucifer returns to Hell to keep the demons in line, leaving Chloe alone on the balcony. Chloe says she loves Lucifer & begs him to stay. He doesn't say 'it was you, Chloe' before he leaves. He only says 'Goodbye.' After three days in Hell he gets a note delivered to him by Azreal that will change the course of everything as we know it.
Michael finds out what happened when the demons revolted and what kind of mess he may need to clean up. Making himself at home in Lucifer's penthouse, he finds a book in the library that may hold the secrets of his brother's painful past.
With a deal from Amenadiel, Lucifer goes back to Earth for 24 hours to make things right. He meets with the author of the note to get to the bottom of things. Without knowing it, he set in motion the series of events mapped out long ago.
***Note***
In this story, Mum is still in Hell. Michael and Lucifer don't hate each other, but haven't seen or spoken to each other since the day of rebellion. Chloe isn't dealing well with Lucifer being gone and doesn't want admit that she is to blame. She returns to the penthouse and overhears something she shouldn't.-
